The author, consultant and entrepreneur Matt Mason lives and works at the intersection of youth culture and innovation. He is the author of the book, The Pirate's Dilemma: How Youth Culture Reinvented Capitalism. It is a book about the problems and opportunities created by the increase in piracy and the potential for piracy as a business model.

Håkan Selg
A researcher and doctoral student at the Department of Information Technology at Uppsala University. Håkan specializes in new usage patterns on the Internet and manages the project Internet Explorer project at the National IT User Center NITA.

Olle Findahl
A professor of media and communication science, as well as research leader at the World Internet Institute. In recent years, Ole has focused his research on the Internet's development in society with a focus on the digital divide, young children Internet usage and file sharing. He also authors the annual report, Svenskarna och Internet (Swedes and the Internet) and is responsible for the Swedish portion of the world Internet Project.

Stephen Blanks is Managing Director of Fat Frog Design based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He is also one of the founders of a:design association, a not for profit organization set up in 2001 to represent and promote the North East design industry. During the last 15 years Stephen has worked with wide range of clients from start up businesses to global corporations. His role at Fat Frog involves developing and running workshops for clients, advising clients on brand strategy and helping businesses develop a unique branded online presence.

Richard is an entrepreneur and innovator, who has been actively working as both a CEO and board member of several companies in the Swedish GIS industry. He is the founder and CEO of ESRI S-GROUP, the leading Nordic group of GIS companies. They operate in Sweden, Finland, Poland and Lithuania and have over 200 employees.

Anders Törnquist, Magoo 3D Studio
Anders is the CEO and one of four co-owners of Magoo 3d Studios. His educational background is in Industrial Economics mixed up with studies in Psychology. Magoo 3d Studios specialize in 3D-animation and visual effects. With offices in Sweden and New York they work globally with high quality animation and effects for commercials, TV graphics and web graphics. Their sense of design and the aesthetics of moving images is very distinct and they always strive towards evolving technically and graphically.

Moderator: Inger Gran
Since early 2000, Inger Gran has been the director of the Stockholm based association Dataföreningen Stockholmskretsen and has worked to develop their trademark, NÄTVERKEN (the network).
In her role at DFS, she has also helped to organize yearly trips that the association successfully carries out, has taken the initiative to document Swedish IT history, was the initiator of what is now the e-Medborgaren (e-citizen) and actively works to reduce the gap between business and IT.

Jim is the Director of the Institute of Digital Innovation (IDI) at Teeside University, a hub between entrepreneurs, research and higher education. The Institute's role is to actively promote innovative processes and products based on digital technology and innovative design. What happens when a few creative artists work together with the help of digital media? As a natural part of our conference, you will experience performances and exhibitions with the purpose of promoting creativity and inspiration.

One of the guest entertainers this year that integrates new technology into their performances is the Swedish digital-duo Moneeo. Having performed across the world, Moneeo will use computers, webcams, sensors, joysticks, light Theremins, as well as other innovative technologies to create different forms and experimental manifestations.
